    Sailed the Atlantic

    Crossed the Atlantic by sail from Orlando to England, learning navigation, weather and endurance at sea.

  2. 2016 · Ecuador → Argentina

    Cycling South America with no money

    Cycled roughly 7,000km across South America relying entirely on trading labor for goods and the kindness of strangers, with no funds and no support vehicle — the journey that launched an expedition career.

  3. 2017 · Ireland

    Cycled across Ireland, seven months pregnant

    Completed a cycling crossing of Ireland while seven months pregnant, proving that adventure and motherhood can move forward together.

  4. 2018 · Guyana

    First descent of the Essequibo River

    Led the first-known source-to-sea descent of Guyana's Essequibo River by kayak with an all-female team, a world-first through remote jungle.

  5. 2019 · Author

    First children's book

    Wrote the first book in what would become the One Girl and Her Bike picture-book series, opening a new chapter of adventure storytelling for young readers.

  6. 2019–2020 · Indonesia / Discovery

    Man, Woman, Child, Wild

    Featured with husband Ed Stafford and son Ran in Discovery's "Man, Woman, Child, Wild" (also credited as "Ed Stafford: Man Woman Child Wild"), a documentary series living self-sufficiently on a remote uninhabited island in Indonesia for a month. Premiered on Discovery, Discovery HD and Discovery Plus in May 2020.

    Speaking & advocacy

    Continues to speak at corporate, education and festival stages on resilience, leadership and championing women in exploration.

    Walk as One — Uganda

    Preparing to walk the length of Uganda to raise awareness for equality, in support of International Justice Mission. Along the way, we'll attempt a Guinness World Record for "the most people to walk the length of a country."
